Before August comes, I gave a thought it will be a fun month and indeed. If you’ve read along my post for the month, there were a few new product launching, newbies and more videos from WOW! Project. For me, at least I think it has been a fruitful month. I know I haven’t came out with my own tutorials yet but I promise I will this month, I’m trying to balance between the project and myself. Please bare with me!
The sixth store opens at Mid Valley end of July, you could read about it here. After much introduction to Inglot, made some hauls with it. I decided to purchase Duraline for its multi-purpose use. It could transform loose or pressed pigments to be liquid formulation (like a mixing medium) and revive dried mascara and eyeliner. I have used it on pressed eye shadow and it works great. It goes on smoothly, non-drying, non-cakey and unscented. Definitely worth the purchase!
INGLOT Eyelash Adhesive
This was also purchased from their new store. My first thought when I get this is its travel friendly because I could bring it anywhere when I have fake lashes on. As much as I wanted to love it, it didn’t work so well for me. It seems to be taking forever to be tacky but when I manage to get it on my lash line, it stay put very well. Some of the glue tend to get onto my fingers, its really annoying it being sticky all over my fingers and it takes more effort to get rid of it.
Jurlique Balancing Day Cream
Its a moisturising cream that promises healthy- glowing smooth skin which came along in Fabulous Finds August 2012. My skin is a little around the cheek and chin area due to the new skincare that I’m using and this is my skin saver! It has a rose with faint lavender scent to it which I really like. It does feel a little waxy on my skin but after massaging more onto my skin, its all absorbed. It definitely help to relieve my dry skin and since its tiny, it fits nicely into my makeup bag too!
Olive Hand Moisturising Cream
This also comes along in Fabulous Finds August 2012, I try to put myself in practice to use hand cream especially at work because after washing some cups at the pantry, my hand does feel dry. Only that dish washing liquid does to my hands like so. This hand cream does help to moisturise and retain the moisture, its a dry skin reliever too but it doesn’t last long. The moisture goes off when my hands are in contact with water but I’m good with re-applying it.
What’s your favourite for the month of August?
