Were you at the Malaysia’s Largest Clothes Buffet last weekend? Happened for 3 days at the Concourse Floor of Syopz Mall, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus where there are more than 50,000 pieces of clothes up for grab. If you have missed this, I have shared about it in my previous post here. Be sure to follow me tight for future updates!
With my busy schedule, I only manage squeeze myself in to go on Sunday which was the last day of the event and that worried me because I was wondering if there is anything left. Of course, I wouldn’t leave the venue empty handed. I arrived at 12:15pm and they were running the Blowout Sales between 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The next session of the buffet will start at 1:00pm and I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to scout for what I want.
Each of us were given a zip lock bag of 14 x 9 inch and if anyone blows the bag, there will be a penalty of MYR 20. I do play safe when it comes to such challenge, in fact my bag could fit one more but I couldn’t find what I wanted. Guess how many did I snagged? A total of 8 pieces. In my opinion, no matter how many pieces one could snag, the most important element is if the person like what they have picked. Let’s see what I picked from the buffet!
I always love asymmetrical and what makes this more interesting that it’s a peplum top. Here I have paired it with my red dress and skinny belt. The bottom portion of the dress is a round skirt which helps to make the peplum style look more fluffy. It is made of chiffon and I also liked it has another layer of white chiffon where it creates layers to the style. Another ways to style with this top is pencil skirt, shorts and skinny pants.
As much as I like to wear tank tops, I do not have one in white. Therefore, I told myself I should definitely get one. The material is slightly sheer but not very obvious and this is a cross back tank top. I usually like to go casual with it and wear them with a pair of short jeans. They could easily be paired with any bottoms and outer wear.

Another basic casual wear, straight up stripped spaghetti top. I was worried that it could be too small for me when I first picked it. It is slightly tight but it’s stretchable. Just like the tank top, this can be paired easily with any outer wear or bottoms.
I can never have enough of sheers and chiffon. I do have something similar but it is in cream and this comes with a pocket. I always like chiffon for it’s light material and even if it’s long sleeve, it isn’t too bad to wear it in the tropical weather. This is an over-sized for me but I’m comfortable with it. Though it is in dull pink, it somehow portray quite a sweet look to it. This can be easily paired with any bottoms and can be nicely layered with sleeveless outer wears.
Another shirt but this fits better and different material (I believe it’s batiste). I call this convertible because I could wear it as long or three quarter sleeves. Plus I do not have any peach top which gives me a good reason to snag this. Batiste material is very light and airy. Peach shade always gives a warmer tone and I love this!
Despite of picking mostly casual tops, I was up for something glam. When I first picked up this dress, I thought it would be too small for me because my woes in over the hip and butt area. Yes, they are the biggest part of my body. I underestimated this dress and it didn’t hug my hips or butt tightly at all. It is loose that I look like a preggo. This can be worn as a dress or top. Under the sequins, it has a netting that creates softness to the style.
This top may look simple, I got attracted to it’s simplest details on the sleeves where it is sheer and embroidered with flowers pattern. I have paired this with a black skater skirt and I should have add a chunky or colorful necklace to spice up the style.
This pick was a last minute decision while I was packing the rest of the pieces into my bag carefully. It is a small item but I could use it as my belt. This gold rope comes with tassels at each ends. I did notice that one of the tassel is slightly damaged but it came off before I took this photo yesterday. I’m thinking of ways to fix it, it will be a waste if I toss it away.
At the same time, there were other vendors at the buffet and one has caught my attention. A beauty box that I have to hear of and it only cost MYR 10. I went all over it and bought one for myself.
MYR10 for all these? It’s definitely worth all the pennies! What makes it more interesting is that I was able to choose the items for my beauty box. From their display, I could pick 2 full size sheet mask, 2 samples and 2 fashion accessories. I have picked quite a handful of items.
- Nature Republic Given By Nature Green Tea Mask Sheet
- Nature Republic Given By Nature Chestnut Sheel Mask Sheet
- Nature Republic Magic Remover Lip & Eye Fresh Tissue
- Skin Food Gold Caviar Collagen Serum
- Lavore Beige Turquoise Stud Dangle Earrings
- Lavore Triangle White Crystal Patch Earrings
I have also topped MYR2.00 along with the beauty box purchase and obtained another mask, Nature Republic Essential Solution Energy Ampoule Mask Sheet. This is a two-step mask which requires ampoule application before the mask.
I was given more samples of innisfree Air Skin Fit BB Cream, Inca Omega Power Oil and Nature Republic Super Origin Collagen BB Cream as well as fh Club brochure to further understand more. I’m not very sure of how their box works but they have quite a bit of sales happening in their web, fhClub.com.my.
I really look forward for Malaysia Clothes Buffet again but the venue is way too warm, I was sweating throughout my entire visit there including the buffet. Hopefully, organizers will be able to consider to run it indoor and it will be more comfortable to shop and run the challenge. If so, I will be back again!
