Daiso Micro Eyepowder in Plum Review

Daiso Micro Eyepowder in Plum is a shimmery loose eyeshadow available from Daiso and the packaging looks exactly like my L.A. Colors Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow with brush.

I’m impressed with the brush because it turned out to be pretty neat not as crazy as my L.A. Colors. However, its not very soft but quite a decent brush. It picks up the eyeshadow well and transfer to my eyelid well too. You may see me using this in Kawaii Manga Tutorial.

The color is in light pink andΒ  turns out to be quite shimmery but I think I would prefer this than my L.A. Colors because this is eyeshadow is much finer makes it easier to blend and doesn’t have glitter in it. To my surprise that it turns out to be quite pigmented too.Β  Most of the shades available are in light shades, too bad they don’t have any dark shades. I would definitely recommend this who’s looking on budget because it only cost me RM5 for this.

PROs:

  • Fine powder
  • Easy to blend
  • Cheap and affordable
  • Decent brush
  • Pigmented

CONs:

  • No matte shades
  • No dark shades
  • Available in Daiso only

My rating: 4/5

  1. That’s pretty! I like shimmer shades, they give the eyes notice without being too glittery. I may get some shimmer shades before I go on vacation. It’s not definite yet but I’m saying I AM GOING to be positive & have luck on my side! LOL I’m superstitious….

  2. Hey,
I’ve heard you are an Eyeko Ambassador. May I know what did you got in your Ambassador Passport pack? Also, how long did it take you to get it? πŸ™‚
    I’m curious about it. Thanks!

  3. @LyNn – Haha, they are always up for grab and usually shimmer ones are always available. It’s seldom to have matte ones with affordable prices.

@Shinbi_Belldandy – Shimmery eyeshadow are great for brightening effect but at times we do want to have matte ones. Too bad they don’t come with matte ones! I always try to keep light and look fresh during vacation. One bad habit from me is that I hardly do touch-ups.

@Tine – Yeap, it does. Apparently, I find some other brands do have similar packaging like so.

@Kaylin – Yes, I am one of their ambassador. In the passport pack, you’ll get your passport, a general detail on Eyeko and free gift.  My location is in Malaysia and it look about two weeks to arrive.

@PersonalStyle – Thanks a lot for dropping by. Hope to see you around more often~

  4. @voguefemme – That’s what used to turn me off of make up…touch ups! I mean it’s one thing to reapply listick/gloss & blot your face but I’ve seen girls literally carry their make up case & redo everything in the bathroom. I try to get long lasting stuff that wont be permanent on my face. LOL. It took trial & error to find some good stuff but I did. Drugstore make up is just as good, if not better than department store brands. You pay for the name anyway.

Do you have Sally Hansen Naturals over there? The spray foundation is AWESOME! I love it! A little goes a long way. It’s a little pricey ($13 here) but it was worth it! Plus since it’s a spray & nothing goes back into the can, you dont waste it & worry about air making it go bad. The shade selection is limited to 4 but it surprisingly works for me & I’m notoriously bad at finding matches!

  5. @Shinbi_Belldandy – Haha, sometimes I do touch-up (definitely rarely) but to touch up everything is a little too much for me. Most of the time, I’ll touch up on my foundation and/or lips. We don’t have Sally Hansen makeups here! That’s so sad. Only their nail care and polishes range is here.
