It’s already 2013 and 2012 has been a memorable year with great things happened around me. I’m thankful for all your great support, without you I will not be where I am today. Thank you so much for you who inspired me in this journey and I promise, I will continue to go on further. Let’s do a short flashback of my hits & misses for last month.
I have not been painting my nails for quite a bit of time, simply because I’m just being plain lazy and the vibe of painting my nails comes again. My Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat had thicken and I wanted to grab a new top coat quickly. This was for only MYR8.90 and it was on sales, I believe. It’s quite a decent top coat but doesn’t give the beautiful shine like Seche Vite. It does dries up in about 30 seconds and keep my nail polishes from chipping for a week.
I’m very into colored eye liner lately, just a simple lining on the lower lash line could give you that fresh pop of color. I was looking at two drugstores brand which is Maybelline Masterliner and SilkyGirl Funky Eyelights. I have swatched both on the back on my hand and vigorously tried to smudge it with my finger. To my surprise, SilkyGirl stayed put better than Maybelline. This eye liner from SillkyGirl is really pigmented and I’ve purchased it for MYR14.30. I also used it in my recent tutorial, 3 Looks On The Go: Purple & Tan Gold.
Biore is very known for it’s pore pack but I felt Heal Pharm worked for me better but they are no longer available in Watsons. Knowing I still have Biore ones, I have used it again and remembered why I didn’t like the black version. Though it claims that it extracts more impurities than the plain white, just because its black and the impurities can be shown better. I felt that it has the same extraction power as the plain white. I also like to wet my pore strip more when its on my nose using my towel because it could adhere better but the black color comes off and stained my towel. It’s not a very good sign of course but I have switched to use wet facial cotton instead of towel.
Yadah skincare has been around for quite a bit now and I only manage to try their Bubble Deep Cleanser just recently ( I have too many cleanser to begin with). It’s basically a mousse cleanser which I love the most because its suitable for combination to oily skin as cleanser cleans skin better when they are in foam. I have noticed that my skin has lesser blackheads after using this cleanser and though I have combination skin, this cleanser doesn’t dry out my cheeks and chin area. I’m also loving the refreshing citrus scent from the cleanser. This was given to me complimentary when I was introduced to Yadah and it’s priced at MYR49.00. Check out more about Yadah, here.
Ever since I have visited facial salon and found out how damaged my skin is, I’m looking for something that helps to control my sebum production at the same time to repair and diminishes the acne spots on my skin. I bought this serum in a set along with the face lifting cream for MYR87.90 from Guardian. It claims to diminish spots and reduces sebum production. It’s in a gel formula and doesn’t feel sticky after applying. After using this for 3 weeks, the post-acne spots are still visible and my skin oiliness is just the same as before. I hope it does something beneficial deep within my skin though.
Ever tried any of the above mentioned products? Did it work for you?
