‘The Talika approach to skin care does not only treat – but also reverse – the inevitable signs of aging on delicate eye skin. True to its founder, each product is grounded in medical certainty – and has been clinically and dermatologically tested to prove it.’ – Talika Paris
Just last week, Talika shared the launch of their new product called Talika Skin Retouch and I was fortunate to be able to one of the first few to preview this new product which was held in Delicious at Duo Residency.
It begin with Cindy, the Brand Manager for Talika Malaysia explaining the backgrounds of Talika followed by Rebecca, Trainer of Talika Malaysia explaining more of what about Skin Retouch and how this product works on skin.
Skin Retouch can be use on face, neck or hands. Its like your makeup primer where you use it after your sun block and before your makeup. There is no need to use liquid foundation after applying Skin Retouch because it is formulate to mattify, even out skin tone, lessen redness, erasing fine lines and pores. It promises great results as though your skin has been photoshopped. After continuous use for 28 days, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced and brighter skin.
Rebecca also demonstrated on how to use the product on Corinne of Junipers Journal. Bravo to her, most of us didn’t want out makeup to be removed. If you see her image closely, her skin where Rebecca applied Skin Retouch does seem mattified and brighter even I can tell the difference when I stood two feet away from her. Rebecca also guided Corinne on how to apply it and Corinne then tried it on her neck too.
There was a little activity of Flawless Skin Challenge where bloggers choose their own partner, one has to try Skin Retouch and the other is the Make Up Artist. Joo Lyn of Stellarvixen chose me to try out my skills and I hope she is happy with it although we didn’t win the challenge. Joo Lyn has very beautiful skin to begin with, she definitely only needed a little coverage underneath her eyes and she wanted edgy brown smokey eyes which I was wearing but somehow the ‘after’ image doesn’t do the justice on showing it, the eye shadows is much more saturated in real.
The launch ended with hi-tea of scrumptious looking desserts and pastries, I reckon these could have been better. The presentation was utterly pretty but it doesn’t taste as good as it seems.
Talika Skin Retouch will be available in July 2012 exclusively over their counters at Parkson (Pavilion, KLCC, One Utama, Gurney Plaza), Isetan (KLCC, 1 Utama) and Metrojaya Mid Valley for MYR162.00 (30ml).
