This Annie’s Way L-Ascorbic Acid Whitening Mask review was meant to be posted last Friday but it has been postponed because I was burning in 39.5ºC fever. The symptoms started on Wednesday night, began to feel sick slightly on Thursday and crashed on Friday without much comfortable sleep with my pounding head. Anywho, I have recovered and good to go! I received this mask complimentary from the launch of Beauty Zone in 1st Avenue, Berjaya Times Square and previously, I had reviewed Annie’s Way Royal Jelly Oil Control Mask.
L-ascorbic acid are more commonly known as vitamin c which helps to improve skin collagen production and whitening properties. It also contain hyaluronic acid, silk amino acid, peony root extract and dipotassium glycyrrhizimate.
It’s a sheet mask that comes with protective film and the film helps to prevent the mask from tearing during application.
Use it just like how any other sheet mask too. Like the precious Annie’s Way mask, I had to cut some slits around the eye and nose area to ensure that it fits nicely to my face.
I still have tons of post acne scars plus I did some extraction before I applied this mask. After using the mask, I have noticed that some of my acne scars are less redder which can be seen from pointed areas. Compare it with before photo, the difference is quite significant.
It helps to improve my skin moisture and texture, witness by my BIA Skin Analyzer plus my skin oiliness has been reduced too.
I didn’t really the notice until I put the before and after photo together. The result is not as drastic but I believe in long term, it would show. Quite a decent mask with loads of extra essence from the mask that it dripped when I have it on.
