Highlighters are infavourable especially for those who have combination to oily skin but I love having to try different highlight because they definitely give you that glowing healthy skin and I can share with you the difference. Arty Professional was launched early this year and one of their makeup is particularly on shimmers. Plus, because I long for that glowing skin lately, I didn’t dig into this makeup until recently.
Micro-shimmering tones of pearl powder sets off sparks of brilliance, highlighting your complexion. The ultra-fine, blendable formula virtually fuses with your skin for a sheer, radiant luminosity. Blend all over the face and all over the body. Helps create an illusion of softer features with minimal imperfections.
Formulated with good-for-the-skin ingredients like Vitamin E, Safflower seed oil, Macadamia Ternifolia seed oil, Aloe Barbadensis leaf extract and Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract to naturally brighten the skin and provide nourishment for a better and healthier complexion.
It comes with a velvet pouch which portrays the exclusivity of this compact but case looks rather flimsy. The case is transparent brown, comes with full length mirror and brush.
Their shimmer compact is great for warm undertones. The shades are more on the peach and earthy tones but its very shimmery through the swatch and I wasn’t too sure if I’ll be liking this. You can either use the shades individually or swirl it all together to use it.
This has changed my perception when I started using it. Compare the before and after, can you tell on the after, my skin looks plumper and glowingly healthy? It looks just like those glowing Korean skin which I’m very much adore of. Because its really shimmery, I have to use it sparingly over my cheeks, t-zone and the hollows of my cheek. Only on close-ups, I can see that its shimmery that the texture is not fine enough to look natural. From far, it looks really natural on me.
I didn’t do a lasting test to this shimmer compact because my skin gets oily easily and powder hardly last on but I’m really happy with this powder at the moment. The brush is quite decent, soft and gentle on my skin although I still prefer to use my makeup brush. I do have the tendency to keep swirling with the brush and I keep telling myself that I cannot over-do the highlighting.
This shimmer powder does contain talc, Paraben and fragrance if that is your concern. They do have quite a bit of natural ingredients there such as safflower seed oil, aloe extract, and ginkgo biloba leaf extract.
Verdict?
I really like this shimmer compact because through effortless application, they give such a great highlight. I only wish that the powder could be much more fine, so that it could look even more natural on the skin. For as long as I wore it (for almost a week now), I have not develop any allergy or irritation. I recommend trying the texture first since its very shimmery and different people has their own preference.

This looks so pretty but from the sounds of it its not the best highlight for oily skin is that right?

It really depends. I do have oily skin but I suppose I have to work out on my skin and the base that I use. Shimmery highlighters will always make one look shiny.
