Review: Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara, Intense Jet-Black Sky-High Lashes Effortlessly Minus The Lash Curler

I am so excited having to know that Eyeko has arrived in Sephora! I came to know Eyeko long time ago back in 2009 and previously, I did review their Big Eyes Mascara and cannot forget how much I have loved it. It wasn’t available locally back therefore I wasn’t able to continue to explore more. Since they are available locally now, I have better chance and let’s begin with Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara.

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara

Award-winning lengthening mascara.

Our slim design brush with dispersed bristles grabs and captures even the shortest lashes to lengthen, extend and separate like no other. We use a unique botanical blend with key ingredient Pro-vitamin B to promote growth by preventing breakage for instantly longer lashes with long-term lash care.

– Conditioning Pro-vitamin B

– Intense jet-black colour

– No smudging, crumbling or flaking

– Water-resistant

– Paraben-free formula

– Locks in colour for 12hrs+

– Easy-to-remove’

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara 2

Just as how it was made when they were first introduced and keeping their signature soft tube mascara up until today. The soft tube is squeezable, making it to be more flexible which in my opinion, it’s great especially when we make use of it till the very last drop.

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Brush

A close up of the skinny brush that indeed skinny with short bristles. The mascara formula is rather wet and creamy just as how it looks from the photo. I believe that they come with only a shade which is intense black.

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Pick

They have a special item which is included when you purchase this mascara, it is inclusive of a pick. The general idea of having this pick is to play guitar but this was made to protect your eyelid when you apply mascara. The protection will prevent any smudges during the application which is a great idea. Frankly speaking, I hardly use it especially when most of the time I need to do my makeup quick.

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Ingredients

The mascara is free from Paraben but I do notice that it contains alcohol. Though Eyeko is from London, this is made in South Korea.

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Before & After

Here is a before and after which in my opinion, it makes a lot of difference. It saves my time because every time when I use this mascara, I didn’t have to use lash curler because it is good enough to lift my lashes sky high rocket.

Above all…

I love this mascara as much I loved their Big Eyes mascara. Though the formula is pretty wet upon application but it dries up pretty fast because I have not experience any smudging from blinking right after application. There is a need still to be careful during the application for it’s wet formula.  There was once I shed a tear with this mascara on and it did not budge which shows they do have quite a water-resistant power there. It definitely helped me to save time and space because I need not to carry along any lash curler with me and it delivers quite an amazing result.

I love how my lashes looked so much darker, longer and the brush makes it easier to reach the lashes at the corners of the eyes. For the lower lashes, I had to be very careful since it is much lesser lashes and more prone for smudging during application. Removing the mascara was never a problem for me, there is a need to thoroughly and gently remove it since the shade is quite intense.
