Review: Lancôme Maqui Miracle Fluid Foundation

Lancôme Maqui Miracle Fluid Foundation is the first brightening foundation from Lancôme that last for 12 hours. Its an all day wear that provides natural fresh perfection and lively brighter skin.

With the Aura-Bright™ technology, it deploys a new generation of pigment to expose the skin’s inner radiance.  It’s sweat and humidity resistance, lightweight, oil-free and mineral rich formulation. It has SPF 26 PA++ that helps to protect skin from UV rays and prevent spots to form. It features Lancôme NeuroWhite™ Complex that helps to improve skin clarity on daily usage.

This is how the actual product looked like. It comes in a glass bottle of 3oml of the shade O-04 and I was given this for review purposes during the blogger review party. I know it took me quite a while to come out with this review as I only apply makeup occasionally now. Please pardon the faded letters printed on the bottle, seems like I have been using frequently.

This foundation is designated for Asian skin, dermatologically tested, non-comedogenic and made in Japan. The life span of the foundation last for a year upon opening.

I could say I love beauty products that comes with pumps, its hygienic, preserves the quality and less messy! That has to depend on the quality of the pump and as for this, it gives a great control to dispense the amount of foundation even to the tiniest amount. Sometimes I use just to conceal my dark circles and acne scars only.

This shade seems merely on yellow undertone before blending but if you look at after blending its not too yellowish yet gives quite a shiny glow and wee bit pinkish undertone, looks like a BB cream.

Look at the difference! I only use on areas of my t-zone, around my eye, sides of my nose and acne scars.  For my after image is just half an hour after applied and I set it with my loose powder. It doesn’t really have oil control, my face gets greasy way too fast. Don’t get me wrong, I love the coverage and the instant glow right after I applied it.

It has medium to full coverage but I do recommend this for fair skin because it has brightening properties. If you observe closely, I look pretty ghostly white which is one of those makeup don’ts you want to avoid.

With the SPF is great for using it on the day, I tried using it at night. It’s still too fair for me but it definitely sweat resistance because there are times I was dancing in the clubs and it doesn’t smudge or melt. I just had to blot and I’m all freshen up again.Having my photo snapped at night with this foundation makes me look really shiny, not in favor of such feature. I recommend this for normal to combination skin types.Sometimes I do get breakout from using this foundation.

This foundation is available in Lancôme counters nationwide for MYR130.

  1. it’s great if they could have more shades.. but the shade i have is a pretty good match after it has settled.. plus i like the fact that it doesn’t slide off on my oily skin.. ^^

    • Yeah, I agree on the shades too! I don’t know why, I always end up ghostly with fairer shades.
