We can’t deny that no matter what type of skin type we have, we definitely will need moisturiser and sun protection during the day. L’oreal White Perfect Total 10 promises to intensively whiten as well as to provide protection and shine-free skin.
Arrived in June 2014, L’oreal has came out with the latest day cream with SPF30 PA+++ with 10 total action and protection.
L’oreal White Perfect Total 10 is the first ever whitening cream that provides deep whitening and full protection with oil control. Using Vitamin CX Technology, it is a unique combination of three types of vitamins which is C, B3 and E that will be able to help in improve skin darkening at the epidermis level. The Advance Shield Complex SPF30 PA+++ helps to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. Both technology will be able to help to prevent and protect the skin from darkening and be able to reduce spots and further skin darkening.
When I first came across this cream, I thought the packaging look really familiar and realised that it is very similar to Olay. It is a stubby pump bottle following on the color scheme of White Perfect range, the designation looks simple and clinical.
In their ingredients listing, I do notice that it contains alcohol, silica and salicylic acid. For as long as I have used it, up until today, I have yet to experience any irritation from using this and yes, while using this it doesn’t really aggravate breakouts. In fact since it has salicylic acid, this ingredient actually helps in fighting acne.
Just like a cream, the texture seems quite rich, thick and has a faint hint of lilac color which I believe that helps to color correct our skin tone to brighten it up. Upon blending into the skin, it does have that shine where I believe it comes from titanium dioxide which is in their ingredients. I was very worried earlier that this cream could be too rich for my skin after testing on it’s texture on my hand. I would skip my daily moisturizer and just use this after emulsion.
I have used it in the course of a month and my skin seems to behaving well every week. Pardon on the breakouts, as I do noticed this happened when I use this particular serum and once I stopped using it, the breakout stops. The acnes is a evidence of improvement from using this cream as I realized that the redness from the acne subsides very well. Not only that, my skin seems to be brighter, less dull and even out every week.
In comparison of before using the cream and after a month. The results is pretty evident whereby my acne redness has improved as well as dullness. My skin is much more brighter now!
Despite of how evident the results were, I believe there is a need to improve in selective areas. Though it claims that they are able to keep skin shine-free and oil controlling, it did not work so well on me. With the humidity and long hours in the air conditioning environment, my skin still gets oily within 2 hours. It will be great if this cream finishes off matte or powdery, it will have a better power in oil controlling. Other than so, I do not have problem with this cream at all. Since it has salicylic acid in the cream, I cannot assure that if this is suitable for normal or sensitive skin type.
