More photos here, where I have unboxed it when it arrived. This brush also uses Sonic vibration technology to cleanse skin. If you’re wondering why should one use such brush, its because they make cleansing more effective than traditional cleansing.

The bristles feel soft on the back of my hand. I have read some reviews that it feels coarse on their skin and as for me, it did feel coarse on selective area of my face. I believe some areas of my skin is sensitive such as, the side of my nose and apples of my cheeks. I’m good with it because it only vibrates for a minute and I’m done cleansing my skin. Its hard for it to reach on areas like the sides of the nose bridge .

For its function that made it waterproof, the side grips and screw panels are sealed with silicon including the charging input. I only have the silicon cap open when I charge it, otherwise I didn’t bother to open the cap at all. I only press on the cap just to make sure that its always secured tightly.

It comes with two settings. First light shown is red light which is for deep penetration cleansing and press the button once more, it shows green which is for gentle exfoliation. I usually use the gentle exfoliation twice a day, morning and night before bed. If you’re wondering how to use it, just damp skin with water, apply cleanser onto skin, run the brush all over the face to allow it to do the cleansing for you.

I only manage to use the brush for only 3 weeks. Only over 3 weeks, my skin did showed improvement that the scars are getting much lesser, enlarged pores looked smaller, skin look more dewy and healthy. It doesn’t completely remove my blackheads but it definitely has lessen lots. I really love this brush!

Verdict?

When I decided to purchase this brush, I vowed to take care of this brush and I did. The reason I chose this brush over Clarisonic is because its so much more affordable but its not available in my country and I had to pre-order it. I’ve place it my bathroom with the cradle to hold the brush. One day the cradle was full with water, I quickly emptied the cradle and wanted to use it as usual. It did run for 1-2 seconds and it stopped. I kept it aside in my room for a day or two and it runs again on luck which means sometimes I manage to get it run and sometimes I don’t. Another few day, I wasn’t able to turn it on at all. Thinking that the battery was out and I manage to charge it but I wasn’t in luck, the brush is still not working. The water in the cradle shouldn’t be an issue since it is mentioned that this device is waterproof and the silicon cap is still intact tightly.

I have purchased it through DewDesire and emailed them in regards to this. They were very helpful and was very nice to explained to me that there’s 30 days warrant cover from purchasing through the merchant and I’m at day 42 when informed them about it, the warrant cover expired. I replied in requesting for receipt because there is 90 days warranty (with receipt) from Pretika  but I haven’t from them again up to date (which was on 25 September). I don’t know what else I could do, the brush is still with me and sometimes I still use it manually. I love it because my acne breakout has lessen a lot and I don’t get breakout as often anymore.

UPDATE 29 September

I seeked for help from DewDesire that they do handle return parcels provided that the product purchased is within 30 days limited day warranty by the merchant. However the day that I have reported on the damaged is on day 42 which already exceeded the warranty from the merchant. I have asked for the receipt because there is 90 days warranty from Pretika and DewDesire explained that it is against their company policy to provide the receipt. Anyhow, they would still help to return the parcel provided that I send the brush to DewDesire with shipping fee to US of MYR50.00 and if there is any balance, DewDesire will return it to me. I’m a little sceptical about this and I’m waiting for an answer from Pretika in regards to this damage.

UPDATE 4 October

I have received feedback from Pretika that they will replace a new brush over my damaged brush. The damage possibility could be the voltage differences among countries. The brush that I have purchased is designated for adapter and electric components for US market. The electricity voltage for US is 120V whilst Malaysia is 240V. When charging the brush, it requires a converter which may not be 100% perfect and could still damage the product. My advice for this to always check with the brand(s) that if their electrical device supports your respective country’s electrical voltage and plugs since they are not originally designated for your country. Internal damage as of this case, will automatically voids the warranty as stated in their manual. I’m unaware of the voltage differences and please read your manual carefully too!
