Review: Sampar Nocturnal Rescue Mask

There are a lot of different types of mask available everywhere such as sheet mask, gel mask, peel-off mask, cream mask, sleeping mask and etc. I was introduced by Sampar their mask that is meant for my skin type and I would consider this is part of sleeping mask because I just have to include it in my night skin care regime without removing it until the next day. Let’s see what does Sampar Nocturnal Rescue Mask do.

Night after night, the Nocturnal Rescue Mask becomes one with your skin to create a veritable reparative film and accelerate its natural regenerative processes. This blue ribbon remedy for blemished skin is the proud guardian of your skin’s purity and finesse.

Results: The skin is mattified, the pores tightened, marks and cutaneous redness eliminated.

Lentil extract slows down sebum production in order to liberate and tighten clogged pores and mattify the skin.
Vitamin F reinforces the skin’s protective barrier function and allows increased healing.
Horse chestnut extract tightens pores and reduces redness.
Soy protein, rich in essential nutrients, boosts the skin’s metabolism precisely when it is most receptive.
Urban Advance Complex, a powerful alliance of 3 active ingredients (shea butter serum, mint endorphin and probiotic sugar), acts as an anti-oxidant shield, neutralizing any cutaneous imbalances linked to pollution, strengthens the skin’s natural defenses and shocks the skin back to life on a cellular level.

Sampar Pure Perfection Nocturnal Rescue Mask 2

It comes in a safety pump bottle where it has a lock on it. Definitely travel friendly because you don’t have to worry of any spillage. At beginning to use this mask, it takes quite a bit of time to pump the mask out.  It was really frustrating that I think I tried to pump it more than 20 times and still the mask doesn’t flow out smoothly for the first week of usage.

Sampar Pure Perfection Nocturnal Rescue Mask - Swatch

The consistency of the mask is like a gel texture and it goes on smoothly without leaving any sticky residue. It has a heavy rose scent to it and might not be suitable for anyone who is scent sensitive. I’m good with the scent, in fact I love it. I use it only at night before using the Poreless Magic Peel along with my other skincare products.

Sampar Pure Perfection Nocturnal Rescue Mask - Ingredients

From the ingredients listing, it doesn’t seem like it contains alcohol or paraben which is a plus point. The product life span is for 12 months upon opening.

Sampar Pure Perfection Nocturnal Rescue Mask - Before & After

I have used it a month now and you can see slight improvement on my skin.

  • Week 1 – Since I used along with the Poreless Magic Peel, I was hoping that this wasn’t the cause of my skin dryness that I experienced since I’m using both product together. I continued using this mask when I stopped the Poreless Magic Peel and my skin gotten better that way.
  • Week 2 – The pores are slightly shrunk and the post acne scars redness are reducing.
  • Week 3 – The size of my pores doesn’t seem to be budging but again, the redness of post acne scars is lesser.
  • Week 4 – Post acne scars are only slightly reduced.

Verdict?

I like using this mask however it didn’t keep my acne at bay because I was breaking out from the Poreless Magic Peel. It does hydrate my skin but doesn’t plump my skin enough for the glow.  I wish that it could could lessen the redness in a faster pace because its hard to notice that there’s improvement unless you’re keeping record like I do.
