Previously when I have reviewed on Thursday Plantation Daily Face Wash, I did mentioned how much I love tea tree and how it could benefit acne skin. I didn’t start to use tea tree infused skincare at first but the oil. When it comes to using tea tree oil, I have never neglect them and this time, I have tried Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil.

Thursday Plantation offers two sizes for their tea tree oil of 10ml and 25ml. Trust me, even with their smallest bottle, it could last you real long. I have used it everyday for a month and there is still slightly more than half a bottle of the oil left. Their packaging is pretty simple with their signature color of lime green.
The oil is stored in an amber bottle and it comes with stopper where it helps to control the amount of oil to dispense. If you wonder why they are stored in amber bottle, it is to protect the purify of the oil from UV rays. I use about 2-3 drops every day to maintain clear skin and slightly more then there is breakouts.
The oil texture is as thin as water and even though it comes with stopper, there are times it drips easily. The tea tree oil scent is strong, tingly, refreshing and leaves cool feeling over the skin. Just as a friendly reminder, do not apply too much on overall face because it will be too cooling and will makes your eyes to tear. Do not take this advice for granted, I’m speaking from experience.
My concern is acne and I apply this tea tree oil everyday to maintain clear skin and a little more on the breakouts. I do notice that it did helped. It does take time because it is a natural ingredient and they normally take a longer time to show result. Have a look on my 4 weeks progress and it zapped those acne like no other day.
Before and after using it for a month, noticed how my skin is getting less scarred from the acne? The tea tree oil also helped in healing the skin better! Areas where I had breakout slowly clears out and became less visible.
I cannot express how much more of my love on tea tree oil. Most of the time I’m using this tea tree oil for acne but there is once I did use it for insect bite. There is one occasion I was bitten on my toe by some insect which I was unaware of and it itches crazily! I used this oil and it did relief the itch for a while. I constantly use the oil until the itch is completely gone and the insect venom to fully disperse. My skin healed well and the bite didn’t leave any scarring. There is once I took a heavy whiff to clear my blocked nose, it worked! There are a few brands that offers tea tree oil and they are price comparable with Thursday Plantation. When this goes on sales, it’s worth to grab!
