When this came to Watsons, I tested it out and I love it! I knew I had to get this and purchased it for MYR45.90. It comes in a petite jar of 15ml, somewhat like a eye cream jar and its made out of glass. When I first opened it, it looked so smooth and pretty. Almost felt like I didn’t want to use it but that’s going to be redundant. The texture is creamy, light, soft and unscented like mousse. When I have long nails, I used a spatula to scoop it out of the jar and this is then I wish that they could come in tube form.

I only used Bioré UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50+ PA+++ as my face makeup base, the only base that I have tried but that has SPF and gives unwanted shine when it comes to flash photos. This makeup base is great day or night and see how it diminish shine around my T-zone area? Also it makes my skin look less yellow-ish.

However when it comes to blending it, you got to be precise and careful. If you don’t, you’ll get unblended patches around your face like how it happened on my under eye area.  Once blended, my skin felt smooth and velvety. Seriously, not kidding! Although it comes in a small jar, you don’t have to use lots of it. I use about two third of a pea size to apply on my entire face.

Here are the ingredients listing. By far, my skin didn’t have any bad reactions to it and I was surprised that it contains titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide are usually found in sun blocks to reflect light but for this base, no SPF was mentioned. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re allergic to any ingredients listed above.

I love this and it is definitely worth purchasing! Makeup application is far smoother when I have this on and it helps to hold my makeup longer than I expected. My face usually oiled up within 2 hours but this has extended it. I have combination skin now (previously was oily) and my t-zone area oils up by the third or forth hour depending on the activities I’m doing. If I’m in the air conditioned area, it doesn’t oil up as easily up to 6-7 hours. It goes on easy and smoothly on face and as I mentioned above, got to be precise when applying. My dilated pores does look less visible but I can’t really judge for wrinkles and lines because  I don’t have any obvious lines to prove this. Since I have pitted scars, this base does settle into the scars. Its not too obvious until you look up-close.

Where to buy and how much?

They are retailing at MYR45.90 at Watsons and Guardian but they are getting cheaper lately, at about MYR30+? Depending on the retailers for their offer, promotions or discounts, price offered varies. You may also find it at any supermarket or departmental stores that brings L’oréal.
