Daiso Black Liquid Liner

I was in search of liquid liners when I was first time in Daiso and I found this. The packaging is pretty simple and easy to identify the colors. What’s the packaging color, that’s the color of it. At first it was a little difficult for me to decide whether or not I should take this because it doesn’t have any explanation in English. Everything is in Japanese and there was no testers at all. I decided to give it a try since I need to replace my liquid eyeliner.

The tip are those semi-hard tips where it can be pokey at times. It is Made in China with the net weight of 9.5ml. It comes with four different shades (if I have not mistaken) and I took black.

Left picture without flash, right with flash. The liquid eyeliner is not runny and not liquidy either. If you look again at the tip it doesn’t look wet. The texture is like some cream/gel eyeliner where I think this would be good for liquid eyeliner beginners to try on. At first, I was expecting wet liquid eyeliner forย  smooth application but for this you have to apply a few times to make a complete smooth line. However, the applications is not always a smooth line. It also turns out that it has a little glitter in it which is a very minor problem to me because it doesn’t look flashy at all.

I would say this is quite a good liquid eyeliner because it doesn’t smudge, long wearing and waterproof. It dries off quite quicky after application so there’s no worries on it tracing it back on your eyelids. It doesn’t give me any irritation at all.

Doesn’t smudge
Long wearing
Dries fast on application
No irritation
Cheap (only RM5)
Available in Daiso all over the world

A little glitter
Cream-like makes non-smooth line
Not available in countries without Daiso

My rating: 4/5

  1. I tried a cream-like liquid eyeliner before and my eyes looked funny lol

Anyway, you still could get a good hang of it despite the texture, wee ~~ ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. seems pretty decent wor.
not bad for RM 5 since liquid eyeliner are very expensive
but i still have liquid eyeliner for now ๐Ÿ˜›

  3. rm5 and does not smudge? hmmmm. but one thing is, those liners in daiso rarely they have testers, so i also dare not buy

  4. @Shuu – What brand did you tried? Haha, it takes a lot of practice and patience to use this though.

@LyNn – yeah pretty decent. I’m still in search of better ones. At least fast and smooth application.

@prettybeautiful – I have just tested and it should be fine. They only have more testers lately but quite limited, only on certain face and lip make-ups.
