Review: Man Up Against Dullness, Oiliness and Bacteria With Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam

Who would have thought wasabi is able to help acne skin? I know I wasn’t aware of it. This time I will be sharing my review on Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam and in order for me to review on the cleanser, I have my lovely BF to experiment it for a month. What do you think the verdict will be?

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam

Garnier Acno Fight Wasabi Foam’s wasabi extract is known for two properties:

1. Fights pimple-causing bacteria

Enriched with wasabi extract which is known for its anti-bacterial properties, Acno Fight Wasabi Foam fights off harmful pimple-causing bacteria on skin. But don’t worry, as effective as this ingredients is, wasabi extract is gentle on skin. Combined with Salicylic Acid, Acno Fight Wasabi Foam helps to remove excess oil and dead skin cells so skin looks fresh and healthy.

2. Brighten skin with wasabi extract

Wasabi is known for its high content in Vitamin C, calcium and potassium. In Acno Fight Wasabi Foam, wasabi extract is added to provide antioxidant that helps fight and defend skin against free radicals. 67%* agreed that skin looks brighter immediately after the first wash.

*Self-assessment on 49 Asian men.

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam Tube

It comes in a basic squeeze tube where the cleanser dispenses at the bottom and it was pretty easy to use, no complications at all. That is how men like it eh?

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam Texture

The cleanser texture is very thick, creamy and a little goes a long way. With that size of approximately 1cm diameter of the cleanser, it could lather up easily and good enough to be used for the entire face. It doesn’t smell like wasabi at all, it smells refreshing like cucumber.

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam Ingredients

Despite of how this cleanser is meant to fight acne, it doesn’t have alcohol and paraben which is great because this may be suitable for those who have sensitive skin.

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam Before & After 2

Just like how I would normally do, I had the BF to use it for a month. He has dry skin, occasionally gets acne (especially on the forehead), blackheads and dilated pores. From the first wash, he noticed that the cleanser works gently without burning or irritating his skin. Instead it felt refreshing and made his skin felt squeaky clean. Throughout a month use, I do noticed that his skin improved in comparison from the photos.

Thought he might not be the best candidate but I think the cleanser helped his skin to prevent further breakouts as his skin behaved so well. The dry patches in between his brows improved and blackheads has gone lesser.

Garnier Men Acno Fight Wasabi Foam Before & After

Here is a before and after where I do notice his skin texture improved where it looked much more smoother than before. His  skin is much brighter, less dull and brighten at the same time.

Above all…

I suppose this cleanser is worth trying, plus it is very affordable. There was once I had no cleanser around me and I had to opt to use this cleanser. Though it is meant for men, I find the cleanser gentle and felt so refreshing after using it. Observing on how it worked on the BF, this cleanser doesn’t dry out the skin as it didn’t happen to him although he has dry skin. Instead, it had improved his skin texture, pores seems to be less dilated, prevented acne, less dull and brighten.
